We’ve used the simplest, most accessible and compatible technologies available today. However, because we use third party software to create and view the magazine PDF, this means that some users will encounter some errors. This may be because you are using an older version of Acrobat Reader, in which case the upgrade would solve most if not all compatibility issues, or your computer may be low on CPU which would cause delays and errors reading large files.
We want to make this magazine accessible to everyone! If you experience technical difficulties please report the errors in our feedback comments.
I couldn’t access it. It appeared to download and even brought up the cover. But when I tried to read what was “inside”, it wouldn’t let me. Got a message saying “There was an error processing a page. There was a problem reading the document (109).”
This is a problem that some Acrobat users experience and as far as we know Adobe Tech Support is not clear why this error occurs and how to fix it. It seems to be a problem affcting large complex files. Your PDF reader is having trouble making sense of the file. If you are trying to view the PDF in your browser, save the file to your desktop and then try to open it with the stand-alone Acrobat Reader. Sometimes the browser plugins cannot handle large or complex PDFs.
You may have a newer PDF file, and an old version of the Acrobat Reader. Try updating your version of Acrobat Reader (or Acrobat). This can solve many issues, including security issues known to exist in earlier versions of Acrobat software. http://get.adobe.com/reader/
As last resort, try viewing the file in another PDF application (If you have access to one). You may lose some interactivity, such as video and audio.
If it still doesn’t work, contact us through our feedback comments and a technician will work on the problem.
